C.R.E.A.M.

One of the biggest drawbacks to starting a side hustle is that you need capital. And If you are a  student or are pinching pennies, then you don’t have extra cash sitting around. So with this post I am going to give you the best side hustles you can start without any money.

  • Take Online Surveys
  • Become a Proofreader
  • Upverter
  • Fiverr Gigs
  • Pet Sitting or Pet Grooming
  • Baby Sitting
  • House Sitter
  • Dog Walking
  • Marketplace
  • Food Delivery Driver
  • Tutoring
  • Virtual Assistant
  • Teach English
  • Secret Shopper

Take Online Surveys

There are a couple of sites that will pay you to take online surveys. Companies sometimes like to test out surveys before they launch them on a wide scale. They also will pay you to leave a real review and survey sometimes. So check it out.

Become a Proofreader

If you have a knack for finding grammatical errors, then you probably would have a field day with my posts on this blog, but becoming a proofreader would be right up your alley. A Lot of students and professional people pay different services to read their papers and articles before they make it public. If you search google you will find those services that you can sign up for.

Fiverr Gigs

If you have a skill, or a talent that you can use you should try Fiverr in order to get paid to do a service. Most jobs start at 5 dollars and go up from there. This can be anything from creating customized songs, to pulling data for companies. I suggest going there and browsing to see what all is offered.

Upwork

This is a similar site to Fiverr, but you will usually find more complex or intricate jobs on this site. Anything from Virtual Assistants to teaching music lessons. These jobs and hobbies are at a higher level than Fiverr.

Pet Sitting or Pet Grooming

This is something that would be slightly difficult to do without funds, but it can still be done. Many families simply don’t have the time to properly groom their pet. So you could start a mobile pet grooming business. Likewise, when families go out of town, they need people to watch their pet. That is something you could assist with, being that you don’t spend too much time at work.

Baby Sitting

This one is pretty self explanatory, if you are good with kids and want to make some extra money. Find some families or couples that need a babysitter. This is one of the easiest ways to earn a check.

House Sitter

This is even easier than babysitting. When families are out of town for an extended period of time they would like people to check up on their house. Water Plants. Dust around. Make sure nothing else is going wrong. Pretty simple right?

Dog Walking

If you already have a dog then you could take other neighbors dogs on a walk when you take your dog. This would be something that you are already doing and you will get paid to play with dogs. Who doesn’t love that?

Sell on Marketplace

This is going to be your favorite thing to do if you have stuff around the house that you don’t use anymore. Just go to Facebook and list them for a price on the Marketplace. You can even check the prices for people selling the same thing to get an idea of what you should list your things for. This is something that would not take a lot of time to do. When you get home, snap a pic and enter a price.

Food Delivery Driver

Download the app and start driving for the many food delivery companies out there. There are many food delivery apps that are out there. You have the option to select your own hours so it is something that adds flexibility to your routine.

Tutoring

This can be anything from common subjects at school, to being a life coach, financial advisor, or tutoring in music. You can market yourself on LinkedIn, and other sites that host jobs. The best way to do this is to create free content either on YouTube or other social media sites.

Become a Virtual Assistant

You can do this by going to Upwork, or you can find some positions that are open on craigslist. These are usually part time gigs, and you would have to do anything from setting up someone’s calendar to answering phone calls for this small business.

Teach English

There are a lot of people who are trying to perfect their craft in English. You could sign up for different websites that will pay you to teach people English. It’s something that you do everyday. So this is cake.

Secret Shopper

This one is pretty interesting because you have to go through a screening process to be accepted. But once you are accepted you can go to various stores and they will give you tasks to complete. And you have to complete those tasks without being suspicious or being caught by the employees. They will either pay you an amount or you get a free meal out of it.

These can give you some good money but most of the time it’s not going to be sustainable. I understand only having a limited amount of time to work on your side hustle. But what I suggest is to go to my Wealth Building Playlist. Here you are going to find detailed posts that tell you what you need to do in your everyday life to build wealth.
